"Classic" Aus hiphop albums
Hey all
been having a think of late, what are the must have (or at least listened to) aus hip hop albums, what makes them important?
One that sums up landmark tracks (so I believe as I don't have nor heard) would be the 15 years of oz (i think that's what it was called)
an example of another would be def wish cast knights of the underground table because it was the first full length aus hiphop album released by a
group.
This thought happened when I was wonering the same question about Japanese hip hop and wondered what other aus albums are important that I might not
know about. There are plenty of albums that I consider classic for my own reasons but I'm keen to know what albums hold importance to the hip hop
scene .

ok.....
how about notable albums from each state,
what was the first album from perth that caught peoples attention?
has there been any political releases that have caused a stir?
who was the first female rapper to have a full length release?
have there been any mixtapes that were dropped that straight up schooled the masses?

Seems like a ghost town in here?
Try [url=http://www.therapcella.com/asp/alltimeclassics.asp]http://www.therapcella.com/asp/alltimeclassics.asp[url] then select Australia.
Note doesn't have much stuff past 2008 though.

I can only really comment on what I reckon are 'classics'...
The two Trem ep's are classics (imo)... also Prowla (Money Talks, Lone Wolf) are all on high rotation at my place...
Basic Equipment sampler also has a good selection of Aussie tracks and artists.
